Lemon v. Kurtzman 1971

This case dealt with public aid to private schools................results in Lemon Test

The Lemon Test asks 3 questions:

1. The purpose of the aid must be secular and not religious in nature
   
2. The primary effect of the aid must neither inhibit nor advance religion in any way.
   
3. Must avoid excessive entanglement of Economics and religion.

If the aid abides with these 3 questions, it passes the test and is legal.
